The Middle Atlas Mountain is a range of mountains in the heart of Morocco and part of the remarkable natural combination of the Atlas Mountains. The second highest of the main 3 Mountain chains, located just east of Fez, this beautiful nature region covers a space of approximately 23000 km² and stretches for around 350 km in length. It’s a very biologically diverse region both in terms of animal life and plant life, it’s known as the home of the endangered Barbary macaque, wild boar and many more animals.
